Fence Cost by Size
A larger fence usually costs more, but the total depends on material, height, gates, terrain, removal and local labor.
How project length changes cost
For a simple straight run, a planning estimate can start with linear feet multiplied by an installed price per foot. A 200-foot project at $25 per foot would be $5,000 before items priced separately. Real quotes may include gates, demolition, permits, difficult access or minimum labor charges.
Why size is not the only factor
Two projects with the same length can have very different totals. Height, material, number of corners, gate openings, slopes and the condition of an existing fence all change the work required.
